Mrs. Morrine Sweer brings over 40 years of experience working in business and non-profit sectors to her Development role. She earned her Bachelors of Science in Communication Arts, Political Science, and Theatre from the University of Wisconsin – Madison, and is actively involved in her local community. Mrs. Sweer served as president of the North Boundary Home Owners League for 14 years, and has been working with the Chicago Alternative Policing Strategy (CAPS) for over 20 years, where she is currently Co-Facilitator for Beat 2411 and Vice Chair of the District Advisory Committee (DAC).
While a parent at Hillel Torah, Mrs. Sweer spent many years volunteering in the school office before officially joining the Hillel Torah team in 2013.
In her role, Mrs. Sweer enjoys connecting with Hillel Torah grandparents and alumni, sharing school updates through in-person conversations, grandparent communications, alumni social media, and the Hillel Torah Alumni newsletter.
Mrs. Sweer and her husband live in West Rogers Park and are the proud parents of three Hillel Torah graduates.
