  • Apply to Hillel Torah
Thank you for applying to Hillel Torah! The checklist below will guide you through the Hillel Torah application process. If you have questions please contact our Admission Director at 847-674-6533 x209 or [email protected]

When to Apply

Hillel Torah encourages families to begin the application process as early as possible. The preferred application deadline is January 24, 2022. Applications received after this date will be reviewed on a space available basis. A non-refundable fee of $100 must be submitted with each application.

Creating an Online Application:

To begin the Online Application process, please start by Creating an Account. Once completed, you can log into your account and Create A New Student Application for your child. You will then have the flexibility to log in and out of your account and access your open application.

After submitting the application, you will be able to track your admissions status at the school by logging into your account. There you will be able to print the completed applications and monitor when the school receives supplemental application forms.

  • Additional Requirements and Forms – Getting to know your child

Help us get to know your child by providing their current teacher with our  Early Childhood Teacher Recommendation Form. Submit by February 7, 2022

When possible, we are excited to visit your child in their current school/preschool program. Visiting each child in their current preschool provides insight into how they interact in a group setting and helps us facilitate a successful transition to Hillel Torah. (February)

We will also schedule a “playdate” for your child with us at the school. We look forward to getting to know your child and this provides an opportunity to visit our classrooms. (March if possible)

  • Acceptance Decisions

Acceptance notifications are sent out in April

Please confirm your child’s space within two weeks of acceptance by submitting your online contract along with the enrollment deposit of $500 (which is applied toward tuition).

Financial Assistance

We urge parents who feel that the tuition is beyond their means not to hesitate to apply for financial assistance. In these challenging times, Hillel Torah deeply believes that financial aid is an essential expression of our values and critical for our families whose circumstances require such assistance. Our process is private and confidential and we are here to help you through the process.

  • JUF Right Start:  We are pleased to participate in the JUF Right Start program which provides a financial voucher for families enrolling their children in a Jewish infant, toddler or preschool program (Pre-Nursery or Nursery only) for the first time. To learn more about the program, please visit
  • FACTS: FACTS Grant & Aid Assessment will be conducting the financial need analysis for Hillel Torah

We Look Forward to Meeting You

If you have not already done so, please schedule a time to visit our school.  We are excited to meet you and welcome you to the Hillel Torah community.

We appreciate your interest and hope to assist you in any way we can. If you have any questions, please contact the Admissions office 847-674-6533 x209 or [email protected].
