Grades 1-6 : 8:20 am – 3:50 pm.
An early drop-off option is available daily, beginning at 7:30 am.

Grades 7-8: 8:00 am – 3:50 pm.
An early drop-off option is available daily, beginning at 7:30 am.

Friday Dismissal Times: The school year begins with a 1:30 pm dismissal time.

3:50 pm dismissal time begins in the Spring.

  • Student Shadow Experience We welcome the opportunity to have your child come to experience life at HT up close and personal! A visiting student may come and spend a half or full-day with us in order to get a sense of the vibrant day-to-day atmosphere of our school. It’s a great way for prospective students to see the warm community here at HT.

  • When to Apply Hillel Torah encourages families to begin the application process as early as possible. Our online application opens in early November and the preferred application deadline is January 22, 2024. Applications will be reviewed on a space available basis. A non-refundable fee of $100 must be submitted with each application.

Additional Requirements and Forms – Getting to know your child

Applicants will be considered for admission after a careful review of their school records, report cards, teacher recommendations, and standardized test scores.
(Submit forms and transcripts by February 1, 2024)

  • Assessments in General and Judaic Studies and an interview with the Principal, Directors of General and Judaic studies or the Student Services department will be required before a transfer student can be considered for admission. (February).
  • When possible, applicants are observed at their current school – February/March

Acceptance Decisions

  • Acceptance notifications are sent out in April
  • Please confirm your child’s enrollment within two weeks of acceptance by submitting your online contract along with the enrollment deposit of $500 (which is applied toward tuition).

Financial Assistance

We urge parents who feel that the tuition is beyond their means not to hesitate to apply for financial assistance. In these challenging times, Hillel Torah deeply believes that financial aid is an essential expression of our values and critical for our families whose circumstances require such assistance. Our process is private and confidential and we are here to help you through the process.
