Third and fourth grade students were treated to an author presentation from our own Mrs. Shainy Peysin, assistant teacher in fourth grade General Studies. Mrs. Peysin told the students about her love of words and writing, and how she wrote her chapter book Bold and Brave, published by Hachai. Students learned about where she gets her story ideas, and how an author and publisher work together to create a finished book. The third and fourth graders asked insightful questions and learned a lot about her book and the writing process.
